Volitia Turns Herself Inside Out in Order to See the World is an exhibition of works by Melissa Marks comprised of framed colored drawings coupled with black and white paintings created directly on the walls of the gallery. The installation is both monumental and fleeting—it engages fully with the architecture and space of the Shirley Fiterman Art Center, but will be painted over at the show’s end.
