New York, New York – After leading the Panthers in scoring in their season opener, BMCC men's basketball sophomore Ysaia Marte (Bronx, New York) received CUNYAC Community College Honorable Mention honors. Marte picks up his fifth all-time weekly honor after getting Rookie of the Week four times during the 2022-23 season.
 
Marte picked up where he left off a season ago, registering his 17th career double-figure game and his 14th in his last 16 games dating back to last season. He scored 11 of his 17 in the first half, helping the Panthers get within one twice in the first half and keep them competitive with NJCAA Division II Middlesex County College for most of the afternoon last Saturday.
