New York, New York – After BMCC men's soccer played No. 4 nationally ranked Nassau Community College to a scoreless first half, it was the Lions who cashed in on their opportunities in the second with five second-half goals en route to a 5-0 victory over the Panthers in Region 15 play on Tuesday night in Garden City New, York. The Panthers drop to 3-3-0 (3-3-0 Region XV) with the loss, while the Lions improve to 7-0-2 (3-0-1 Region XV).
 
Marc Augustin posted his second hat trick this season, netting the first three goals of the second half, then Lorenzo Cali added the fourth, and Jose Guerra added the fifth from Alan Funoz. 
 
Sophomore Abdul Mumin Seidu (Bronx, New York) took the loss, registering his third double-digit save performance of his career with a game-high 10 saves, while Kenny Chamo picked up his fifth victory of the season with the clean sheet.
