Milton, New York - Freshman Lea Reimer started BMCC women's cross country's second season with a bang, posting a top 10 finish out of 117 runners at the Mt. St. Mary Knight Invitational on a wet Sunday afternoon in Milton, New York. The women's 6K was a competitive field featuring several marquee NCAA Division III and NJCAA Region 15 programs.
Reimer led all Panther runners, crossing the tape in tenth place with a school record time of 30:08.4.
Reimer's finish was a solid impression for Region 15 and CUNYAC competitors as she was the conference's top finisher and second out of the Region with FIT's Kimiko Quayle registering a fifth-place finish with a time of 27:12.6.
Classmates Kylah Hetmeyer, Alyssa Williams, and Tiana Crespo crossed the finish lines with times of 36:17, 52:01.5, and 52:22.9.
