Supervisor Electrician Exam BMCC to Celebrate Community College Month in April
Coming up in April, BMCC will celebrate Community College Month (#CCMonth), a monthlong grassroots education campaign coordinated by the Association of Community College Trustees (ACCT). The primary goals of #CCmonth are to improve awareness of the economic, academic and equity advantages of attending community colleges. Public community colleges like BMCC are a uniquely American educational model that was designed to guarantee access to affordable, high-quality higher education for all people. Community colleges such as BMCC are the primary educators of life-saving nurses, healthcare professionals, and many others. They also serve as an onramp to higher-level degrees for many students, and particularly for the most demographically and socioeconomically diverse students. BMCC also offers support services for adult students who have to work to support their families. Without community colleges such as BMCC, many New York City students would not be able to access higher education at all. Take this opportunity to learn more about BMCC’s dynamic programs, students, resources; and why BMCC is among the top five community colleges in the nation. Visit the BMCC Community College Month webpage to learn about upcoming activities on campus.
